The short version

starlight is a sound mixer that runs entirely in your browser. It has no accounts, no servers of its own, and no analytics or tracking. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We never see how you use it.

What stays on your device

• The mixes you save (presets) and the current state of the app are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only. They are never uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes them.
• All sounds are generated inside the app. Nothing is streamed or downloaded from an audio service.

Third parties

There are none. starlight serves everything it needs, including its fonts and icons, from its own files. It makes no third-party requests, so no outside service receives your IP address or any request from the app. Once the page has loaded, it runs entirely offline.

If you install starlight from an app store, that store applies its own privacy terms to the download and to your device, separate from this policy.

Children

starlight is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Terms of use

• starlight is provided as-is, for relaxation, focus, and sleep, without warranties of any kind.
• starlight is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It is not a treatment for any sleep, hearing, or health condition. If you have concerns about your sleep or health, speak with a qualified professional.
• Please keep the volume at a comfortable level. Prolonged listening at high volume can harm your hearing.

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here. Because starlight keeps no contact information, material changes will simply be reflected on this page.
